Love this app!

I use this app regularly as a checkbook register, for all my bank accounts and credit cards. It helps me keep on track simply and easily. I mostly use it on my phone, but also have the app on my iPad. I pay the small fee to sync between devices, which also provides an online backup. The app always works well and at tax time the report features easily give me a list of transactions in each category that I use. Highly recommend this app!!

Anybody there - Troubleshoot techs/Zendesk

Same issue. You pay for your subscription but no one answers your service request order when you have sync or back up problems. Ive emailed atomicunitsoftware.Zen desk.com several times. An automated reply with a service/work order # is sent to my email address, but no one person actually sends me a solution. Its happened before, or I get a reply weeks after the fact. It difficult to move forward when your original password doesnt work, so you finally ask for a new password to be reset. You reset the password and still have the same problems:(1) your login password still doesnt work! (2) the same constant back up issues, unknown error messages and no response by staff when attempting to back up your entries, (3) troubleshoot techs do not answer your request for help, maybe they lost their contract w their tech vendor?? I dont know the reason for the app and/or service dept., but I paid for the service and Im being denied good service. My main question here is who can help me get my entries backed up 100% of the time? This is the person I need to communicate with, not a forum, an expert. At least recommend another app that is capable of backing up data as promised. Please reply or call the number in my emails with a solution soon.

No customer support

Ive been a long time customer and have been paying the annual fee to use the backup/ sync option since day one. I emailed customer support 3 times with a question and they have never replied. Im very disappointed by the lack of support. Im about ready to move my business elsewhere.

Have loved this app for many years...

My wife and I have been using this app for many years. We love the interface, the ease of use, and what it offers over Mint etc. To address some of the reasons for bad reviews from others… •We’ve sometimes had sync issues, but it’s often a server issue •We’ve almost always had tech support responses, but not always promptly. • All issues through the years were solved by either 1) force quitting the app and re-downloading sync data or 2) deleting the app and reinstalling and then re-downloading the data. Feature requests: •Better, less clunky, faster web interface or an actual OS app •Fingerprint TouchID like so many other banking apps are using now •A running balance for ‘Today’ as well as the current ‘Look Ahead’ (for future deposits/withdrawls)

WAS GREAT...

As a least one reviewer has pointed out, you really have to quit the app and restart to make sure that youre actually looking at correct numbers, which is absolutely ridiculous. This app hasnt been updated since 2013, and as much as I love the app, Ive found another one that works consistently, which might actually be important to you when youre dealing with your finances!

Best Checkbook App

I dont understand all the negative reviews of this app. I have spent hours looking for alternatives and always come back to iReconcile. This is the best checkbook app hands down. I have never had a problem with it. I only deducted one star because the developer doesnt seem present and the app has had no update in nearly 3 years. I am afraid they have abandoned this app and I cant find a better alternative. Please keep this app alive guys. Its the best out there! Update 3/2016: THIEVES! Years later and the developers are still MIA. Sync is no longer warning and no one responds to my email. I paid for a service thats not working.

Disappointment

Sadly, I must give this app a poor review. I have used it for a couple of years and when it is working it is great, but you never know when there will be a problem and you lose EVERYTHING! I pay for the online sync, but that has failed me too. The customer service is non existent, I wrote Saturday morning for answers and again Monday evening and I have not received any response at all. This app cannot be trusted.

ZERO support

If theres ever a chance youll need support with a synch or restore issue, DO NOT BUY THIS APP! The app works well enough, but when it comes to needing support from the developers with a restore data issue, its crickets! Theyll gladly take your yearly subscription fee, but there is no support provided at all! For $20.00 a year I expect more. Its bad enough that after several years of use, Im finding another app.

Developers Dropped Support With No Notice

The developers shut everything down with no warning to users. This app no longer works like it should. Dont buy this app! Apple should remove it from the App Store because its now a broken, incomplete App.

What the heck happened???

This used to be a great app. Now sync hardly ever works. Not happy for a paid app!!!!

Been using since 2008 but now over!

Been using this app since its first iteration in 2008 but have finally pulled the plug with regret as it has 8 years of records! The final straw throughout the recent bugs is the back up function no longer works, something I recently paid $5 for. I contacted the developer twice but no response. What frustrates me is that if your not going to support your app then pull it from the AppStore.

Zero stars

This would be a great app if only it offered support backup. My checking account is too important for me to be unable to access support when needed. Ill be switching to a different checking reconciliation app.

1- Take your money- but App no longer works.

I paid for a long term subscription, but this APP is NOT WORKING. Its been neglected. My info wont load, nor sync, nor back up and the tech dept has not answered my emails for months. Yet, my money has paid for a long term subscription.

Worse recently.

I chose this app over others specifically because it can be used on my ios devices AND accessed via the web. The app works decently, meaning that it syncs accurately about 80% of the time in my experience. However, if the web functionality is what draws you in as well, save your money. It used to work also about 80% of the time. For the past couple of months the web part only works about 5%-10% of the time. It hasnt worked at all for me in over a week. Doesnt matter the browser. The home screen will come up fine, but when I click on any of my accounts it throws an error message.

Crashes all the time now

I have been using this app for years. It recently stopped working. It crashes when I open it, will not complete sync, and I can enter no transactions. I tried restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Still crashes. I wish I had not renewed for the sync feature. It no longer works. I would like a refund.
