iReconcile - Checkbook, Budgeting, & Reporting App Reviews

This app is what I was looking for. After spending alot of money on budget apps I found this to suit my needs. Ive been using checkbook an converting my data over was painfully complicated. Took m 30 minutes to find out how to do it. Theb I found out that my reoccuring events from checkbook did not transfer over Although this needs a little work, it is by far the best app for me. I had the features I need.

I use this application daily. Works very well. But I noticed a bug on v 1.2.2 with the memorized transactions. Hope its fixed soon.

The feb 23 release screwed up the look ahead feature which is one of the best features, now it does not sum up ur future transactions to show negative or positive balance in future date , hopefully will be fixed quickly and would also like a customizable look ahead where we can look ahead more than one month.

The budget category color differentiation, calendar, despite repeated viewings of tutorials, are not working. Wrote to tech support and not a peep....

Garbage app total ripp off. Do not buy this. You manually enter each transaction! Who wants to do that! I paid for this garbage and am not happy! Mint is waaaaay better. Do not get ripped off like I did!

Liked the app until I tried the sync option . It did not work and I lost all the data I Had entered. Also if they want you to pay A monthly subscription to back up data It would way be to expensive to use

Took a little while to figure out but the app is very easy to use one you get the basics down.

Best finance app I have seen. I sync the app between my iPad and wifes iPhone. Works very well and I particularly like the budget feature. Keep up the good work!!

I just bought this app and the layout is awesome but I have set up budgets and there is no way to link an expense to one budget..You type in the name of the budget u want it to come out of but it pulls it out of all the budgets anyway; essentially rendering the app completely useless!

Nice app at one time. Needs update. Some features will not work with ios10. Contacted via email no response. Poor customer service. Will not be renewing the yearly sync service.

This app is horrible! My husband and I paid for the version that will sync on multiple devices. Its so quirky! But the main thing is that it doesnt figure the balances correctly. We thought we had way more money than we actually did. Frustrating!!! Back to the old school paper register we go. NEVER again will I trust this app. Ever!!!! Run and dont look back!

Ive used the app for quite a while. Paid to renew, now app doesnt work (even after reinstalling). VERY disappointed!!!

I started using this app in mid-January 2013 and was very excited to have such a robust and easy to use finance-tracking app in my pocket. There are a few small interface elements that can be improved, but its a four star app, as far as features and ease-of-use go. I use the app every day and now rely quite heavily on it. Ive found it to be unexpectedly useful for looking up transactions by searching. When did we last go to the movies? Search for "Entertainment" and skim the results to find the last movie night. Or did I pay back Jon last month? Do a search for Jon and see. The interface was clearly designed by someone who intended to use it himself; buttons and interface elements are where I expect to find them, more or less. The feature set is exactly what I want. It doesnt integrate with bank websites or anything fancy like that, and I like it this way. Unfortunately, the app seems to no longer be under active development. The last update was in 2013 to make the screen fill the "new" iPhone 5s taller display. Since then the app has started to become less and less reliable, possibly due to library incompatibilities introduced with each iOS update. I still use the app and truly dread having to find a replacement, but I think that Ill need to at some point, unless the developer releases a bug fix update soon. Im torn about what star rating to give. Four seems appropriate for the feature set and interface but the increased crashing and need to restore my data from a sync backup lately makes me lean more toward two stars, or even one. I just dont want to discourage people from trying it and giving the developer reason to keep working on it.

I just installed this app 9/15/2016. I had the original Checkbook app and was able to transfer over 800 entries from the old app to the new. To me this is the best simple app for keeping track of check and debit card transactions. The search feature and report generator are new from the old app and both work fine. I dont use the budgeting feature. Tip: 1. If you are transferring entries from the old app you must have the new app installed first, not the free lite app. 2. If after installing this if something isnt working try restarting your phone or iPad. 3. There is a good PDF manual for this app that I found with a Google search online.

Ive been using iReconcile for six years and its been an awesome app until iOS 10.0.1 Now it wont launch and the developers support portal is not working. What a shame because it had been the best checkbook register app.
